Mike, the navy unconstructed blazer from Our Legacy looks great, but could you confirm the measurements? I'm a 38R and typical well-fitting jacket has chest measuring 20.5 (like the small) and shoulders measuring 18 (like the XL). The shoulder measurements seem way off - does the small melange plaid shirt, which has the same chest measurement, really have shoulders an inch and a half larger than the small jacket?

Yes, the shirt is definitely a full size larger than the unconstructed jacket. If you're a true 38R and you typically wear slim things, then I think the Medium will be right on. I'd give that one a shot first.

Mike,

Can you tell us again when the sport coat(s) will be online? Also, while I've read through your posts, can you give us an idea on new pants and when they will drop? I'm heading to Italy for a couple of weeks the latter part of June and if you are going to have some linen trousers in time for me to get them and have them hemmed would much prefer to kop from Epaulet. Thanks

All signs point to yes (this is in reference to Walts, from last week):

There's probably one or two more in there that I forgot. They're being cut this coming Monday, so expect them to land in about 3 weeks or so.

The Southwick for Epaulet sportcoats are now scheduled to ship on 4/22. We used some special materials for the liner and under-collar, and that pushed out the delivery almost three weeks. But my rep told me that he's very confident on this date, so it shouldn't be long!

All the new trousers should probably arrive around the same time. It might even be a bit earlier. I'm going to meet with the team tomorrow, so I'll get a solid idea then.

For new Epaulet shirts, we've got those three madras coming around the end of next week. I'm also doing short sleeves, and a few restocks of certain styles (Navy Gingham cutaway, White Point Collar Oxford, Blue Point Collar Oxford, Red Chambray Point Collar).. and....

A REORDER OF THE POINT COLLAR FLORAL!
There's enough fabric to make about 8 units, and we'll start cutting it early next week. If anyone missed out and wants to reserve a unit, just let me know via PM.

Looks like the only thing dropping today is the Thorogood Crazy Horse Boots. Spotted a category built for the handsewn shoes but no product.

hey guys, our handsewns have to wait until tomorrow morning, but in the meantime....

Thorogood for Epaulet No. 685 "Crazy Horse" boot: $245

We've got a huge description of this boot in the online shop, but here's the short list:

1. Crazy Horse is an awesome raw cowhide that's oiled and rough. It's a bit lighter in weight than Horsehide, and better for warmer temps.

2. Each boot includes a 4oz tin of Pecard's Leather Dressing. When you rub this in, the whole boot becomes darker, very oily, and extremely water resistant. It's great for Spring showers. It also allows you to customize the overall look and tone of the boot.

3. Sizing is consistent with the Horsehide No. 685's and generally true to size. If you take a 9.5 in the typical workboot, Alden Barrie, or Alden Tru-Balance, then get a 10 in these.

These are awesome in person. Any owners of the Horsehide boots can attest to how comfortable this model is. It's a great Spring boot, but you'll easily be able to wear it throughout the Fall too. We made 144 pcs, and it's available exclusively through us.
