Just bought a suit on the cheap so I figure I can expend a little more to make it look even better. I don't want to go to the local dry cleaners where I have stuff taken in and hemmed because I thinking of making more drastic changes (shortening the jacket, basically "slimming" the whole suit, etc - making it more timely). Can someone recommend a tailor in NYC that actually does this type of thing? Is it a. Just a bad idea - don't mess w/ design of a suit, buy the actual suit u want instead of trying to create it, b. just take it to the dry cleaner lady, or C. a good tailor can do this pretty easily
