Sorry for blurry, poorly lit pictures, it was too dark to take pics in my room so I attempted to use another part of the house.

On the issue of boring fits, I think all those people look good compared to normies, or whatever non SFers are called, but just average for a SFer, if that makes sense. I proudly say I will never own a pair of boat shoes.

- FWIW at my age (40), I do not go for shock value rather a understated approach
- I appreciate a lot of the SW&D fits, but also understand that it is not my style (as a frequent traveller, & I mean international) I have no problems into fitting in & can go about without causing stress
- I'm also glad that you would ignore me as I am not your target demographic

Not that you need to hear it, but I look forward more to your posts than anyone else in WAYWT. You are the king of cool.

I was thinking the same. Poor kid asks ya to go gentle and even use lube, and the first piece of advice is "**** your boat shoes." !!

For what it's worth, I don't think there's anything wrong with those boat shoes.

It's the "I will never own a pair of boat shoes" club, oh, no! Ha ha.

What's with all the boat shoe hate, anyway? I cannot understand why anyone would be so opposed to them.

Also, while I agree with a lot of the rest of what Magician said, I don't think their is anything wrong with a fit that isn't as unique, etc, so long as it's still a decent fit. JackTheRipper's fit is pretty good, if fairly standard American Prep, but it's still vastly better than what most people wear, and better than the average first WAYWT post.

I, for one, enjoy the mix of more adventurous/interesting/fashion fits (like SoCal, Kunk, etc) with more reserved but still solid fits, like so many people post. I mean, Robbie (for example) doesn't post anything that's out there, but his fits are still consistently good (IMHO). I don't see any reason why they both shouldn't exist, particularly since this is supposed to be a style forum rather than fashion.
