but what about his get up? Did he wear a black peak lapel suit or do I need a new TV? And the guy that sat behind him in a black pinstripe suit, white shirt, solid turquoise tie and a really bad rug? He looked like Pesci in Goodfellas.

iirc, steroids were the "breakfast of Champions" for a while, until they started showing adverse side effects (don't get Soph started on this one) involved with their usage/abuse. Once the side effects came to surface, they became controlled substances, and the stigma came around, to where even former users started issuing denials. This is just top-of-the-head recollections, fact-checking will probably affirm some points and refute others, but it's late and I don't feel like googling at this hour.

but, if you want to recover quickly, there's nothing better than the 'roids.
And if you're a marquee name whose career is fading, and you don't recover like you used to, and you have too large a financial incentive to walk away, you don't see much in the way of choices. I would be more surprised if Clemens didn't use.

I believe it was a DB suit (as was McNamee's suit). Pesci in the turquoise tie was Clemens' lawyer, Rusty Hardin.
