What's your favorite tie knot?

Yes, I know; it depends on the tie, the shirt, the suit, the wearer, the time, the day, the weather, the sun, moon, stars, blah, blah, blah. But generally speaking, what is your favorite tie knot? I like the Full Windsor becasue I'm a little OCD when it comes to symmetry. :/ PS: I also like the Marovingian Knot but I don't think I'd ever actually wear one. :p edit: The finished knot in video linked above looks much better than the originally-posted link to a picture (which was quite terrible).

That's the ugliest knot I've ever seen.

I do a half-windsor 99% of the time - works for me.

FIH has been my choice since 3rd grade (school uniform), though I've toyed with them all.

Four in hand. Always. Sometimes I wrap the long end around twice if the tie is thin and long enough--I'm only 5'8", but that's the only variation.

And a bow for DJ.

Half windsor is default, I like the symmetry without the size.

FIH for those that are really skinny or really thick.

JHC, there's a thread with nearly EXACT SAME NAME only a couple weeks old. How the hell did I miss that?

Sorry. :p

four in hand

if the tie has a thinner interlining or is on the longer side, half windsor out of necessity.

Have tried the Prince Albert and don't dislike it

I hate a full windsor in any and all instances

In that other thread someone said the Italian.. which I guess is a FIH with one extra wrap-through... that is now my knot of choice.

I like windsor or even a double W

But then I never wear a button down shirt either

So for my Italian spread colars (whale?) I like a nice symetrical knot. I suppose if I was ever to wear a skinny tie the PA above might do ... Speed
