There is a possible steal on Sutor Mantellassi's from STP for $189 minus discount. The primary picture is wrong. If you click on the pictures they're definitely handmade Sutors. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/8...e-For-Men.html

Problem #1 - they're backordered
Problem #2 - my emailed receipt said Bruno Magli loafers
Problem #3 - the emailed receipt said a total price of $0
I called and talked to a customer service rep at STP and she said that it can often take up to two weeks from them receiving a shipment until it hits their shelves (they have shelves?). In the system my order really does say for SM shoes and the total price was $133 - so the receipt was probably just wrong. The 20% coupon also applied at 36%.

Maybe it will go through. Maybe not. Have fun :)

they proved to be maglis. check the MC forum for other people's responses/failures.

No it is not. Yoox sales are the best value I have ever seen. Returns at $5.00 are not bad either.
I hardly consider paying $300-$600 for geriatric clothing a bargain proposition.
Let's face it, 99% of STP's inventory is suitable only for zoftig grandfathers.

Yeah. I went through fatwallet. Then changed the coupon code to the 20% listed above. 36% discount plus the fatwallet kickback in a few months when it clears.

I've never seen a great value at Yoox, and their site drives me nuts. But this is an STP thread anyway, so...

I just did the same thing and it rang up as $133, shipped!

Question, if those truly are the double monks by SM, I assume they are of the Goodyear welted variety and not Blake?

Neither blake or goodyear. They are a norvegese welt. Retail would be in the neighborhood of $950 as opposed to the goodyear SMs which go for around $850.
