Guys I have a suit with a couple of small moth holes that I'd like to have repaired...does anyone know of a reputable reweaving service in Melbourne or anywhere else in Australia?

Not sure on Melbourne as I live in Brisbane.

I have had experience however with a re-weaver at an establishment named Doree's invisible mending. They have one person qualified to do it and she is Japanese. Cost is $45.00 per hole.

Alot of dry cleaners and alteration tailoring stores state that they do invisible mending (reweaving) however, in pretty sure very few actually do the work. I would say that the dry cleaners contract the workout to the specialists.

45 Aus Dollar is really cheap for proper reweaving by London standards. There is a place on Marylebourne High Street I took some suit trousers to be reweaved. It was a complicated cloth and they were so expensive I could not bear to pay what they wanted to charge. I got them patch mended instead by an alterer.

The same is true for the U.S. , expect to pay twice that price for a top flight reweaver.
