You could get an Enzo AND a Carrera GT AND a Aston Martin Vantage AND a a Ferrari 430 convertible for nice weather for the price of this thing. And 2 of those are arguably better cars. The entirely carbon fiber exterior is somewhat intriguing, but even if it drops 300 pounds off a standard Murcielago I think it still checks it at over 3000 lbs.

The only thing it really offers at that price is exclusivity, and for that reason I'm sure it'll still sell. There's gotta be 20 insane Lambo fanatics (14 of which I'm sure live in Dubai) who'll plunk down for this monstrosity.

I live across the street from Lamborghini of Houston, and I could honestly care less whether I see this car sitting out front. Lamborghini is the Bentley (modern Bentley) of sportcars...nothing but expensive automobiles for the rich and pretentious. The only 2 Lambos that grab my attention are the Gallardo's and the old Miura's.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed, but it's ridiculous in conception. Something Kayne West or P. Diddy would drive up in.

Agreed, I'd rather have an Enzo and the Porsche Carrera GT supercar than this ostentatious eyesore.

The Countach remains a classic car. A friend in private equity has one in red and the attention he gets is remarkable when he pulls into a store parking lot. Unfortunately it barely fits anyone over 5'8". I'me 6'3" and have to literally sit at an angle in the passenger seat. It is also loud as hell and gets about 6-7 mpg or something very low.

The Countach is a nice car to drive in open road. It takes some serious muscles and hand/foot coordination to park it in any city. Plus, it feels like you're sitting in a sauna when it warms up. Damn, I love the 80s.

Yep, Bob has replaced the A/C before but it just doesn't have enough volume to the air. Imagine a 450hp or so engine sitting on your left shoulder. That is what being in the passenger seat. Still fun but I'd rather have a Porsche.

High-end carmakers have it easy in times like these when there's a lot of money at the top because they basically just set the price nice and high and the things sell themselves almost on that basis alone.

Hmmm, considering the traffic here in the Bay Area, I can assure everyone that the Lambo will be going as fast as my Toyota truck, over the same potholes, and avoiding the same tailgating drivers. $1.4 doesn't buy much there, does it?

I dunno, I've always thought of Lambos as exotically styled a**hole magnets. And at $1.4m, yeah, you probably deserve to have a shopping cart tossed into the side of it if you're so irresponsible as to waste a sum of money that most people won't earn in their lives on something so fundamentally trivial as a Reventon.

Also, aside from the fact that the Reventon is a rolling argument for wealth redistribution, my brother used to work on Lambos and frankly they Are Not Well Built. Handmade, yes. Skillfully built, nope.
