I see it the other way around. Interpol dress fine enough, but 2/3 of each record is skipable (imo) whereas Franz doesnt have a single track I skip over.

And I thought we were friends. Songs like "Eleanor Put Your Boots On" make me want to scratch out my eyes with a rusty hot poker. I find much of "You Could" very skippable. Actually, the only song I ever listen to on that album is the last track. "Outsiders" is probably one of the coolest "indie" songs written.

Wow, whodini pulled out Man-O-War! I actually saw Man O War a couple of years ago. They absolutely live up to the loudest band reputation, my ears rang for days and since the sound-guys didn't know how to run the compressors they blew out the monitors too.

Disagree 100%. Everyone of Interpol's tracks is unique and gold to me and Franz all ends up sounding the same to me.
