I'm not talking about the drawstring-waist, patch-pocket variety, but proper trousers made of linen. Do you think these would be acceptable for business-casual attire, or would the wrinkly aspect of the fabric make them too casual for the office?

Demends on who you are, where you are and what you do, I guess. I have a pair of dark blue linen "dress" trousers that I often wear to work in summer with a light blue pinstripe linen/cotton jacket. I preferably do it on Fridays, though. It never did any harm to me....I believe....

I either wear a linen blazer or trousers to work on Summer Fridays as well. Except tomorrow, I plan on wearing a RLPL silk blazer (tan) paired with cream-coloured trousers.

I have three pair of RLPL linen pants. Two of them I wear to work regularly (Tan & light green). The other pair, bright lavender, only makes it out for casual events

Be careful if they're light colored, patterned boxers can sometimes show through if they are not lined, otherwise they should be fine.

More than fine, especially for BC. Sounds downright dapper, in fact. I have taken to wearing mainly linen suits in the hot part of the summer - there is nothing particularly business-like about being hot and sweaty. Well, not in my business anyway...

Oh sure, go ahead, make fun. I learned the hard way, nothing like people saying "Oh so I see we're wearing stripes today" - LOL

I knew Steve-O was a member of this forum.

You could tell from the sartorial upgrade between Jackass I and Jackass II.
