PS ricards on the danite rubber sole would fit the bill, believe they were out last season so availability might be tricky.

Those F&B boots come with a thin rubber toppy (at least mine did) and would work as well. I really like the the danite sole though for all season wear.

I don't really like the F+B's profile; also, I already have a ricard but mine has the leather sole. At this point I don't want a PS boot since I have two already, needs something different. Yoox probably is my best bet to look for an obscure Italian brand or something, the problem is, that site is too overwhelming. However, if anyone knows a brand that suits what I'm looking for and is stocked on yoox, feel free to recommend. Thanks....

I would rather not do the topy thing right now, I did that to my Corso's to protect the sole and later sold them here. I want a beater boot that I can wear in all weather and not have to worry about messing it up.

Have you looked at Tricker's? I especially like the special makeups for present and bureau belfast

I am looking for something distressed preferably; trickers are too similar to PS boots, like I mentioned earlier I had a PS Corso which I sold a year later so I really don't want another boot that's similar to that. The brown Corso's I had was supposed to be my beater boots but I guess I eventually decided they weren't proper for the look I wanted. Right now, I own two PS boots, a ricard in black almost new and a pair of bronte's in burgundy which have not been worn in the more than 2 years since i have bought it. I mostly wear CP Achilles on a regular basis but I am getting bored of them nowadays.

The w+h boot is sorta what I'm looking for but it's too pricey and too many people here have that already. NDC should suffice though....

PS. Not a fan of Aldens....

different in style yeah. but i am mainly looking for a nice dark brown boot with decent quality as i may be wearing them 2-3 times a week.

i do have a pair of the newer PS ricard and would love something in brown of the same quality/style i guess, but not exact. does not have to be as sleek + my clark's db beeswax are pretty beat after 2 years, so would like something better overall.

^If you're looking for cheap wingtips, the Florsheim Limited Veblens look decent for the price (~$150).

First, let me say thanks for the help thus far guys....Unfortunately, I never like JV boots. After brainstorming a little I think NDC should make what I want. So I just need to see some pics of NDC boots that should fill that gap in my wardrobe.

Those Tricker's are nice but they're really not a whole lot like those Aldens he linked to other than being brownish PTBs.
Those Aldens are on the Leydon which is relatively sleek. It's very sleek compared to the Tricker's 4444/4497. The Aldens also have the lighter antique edge trim.
If all he's after is a brownish ptb, well nevermind.

Some other brands worth checking out, in case you don't find what you want with NDC:
