GDL's looks have been my favorite in the thread so far. Conservative, but not overly boring.

I think conservative business dress is more my pace- although, not exclusively.

Yesterday - with black shoes and no PS.

Today - with burgundy shoes and no PS.

White shirt + yellow tie = awful.

That blue butcher stripe is fine with that tie. Looks nice.

These are good. Not bad for a red tie.

I also think the socks are too casual. I love argyle socks, but reserve them for casual wear only. Never with conservative business dress.

Like both - look very good. I would personally double that knot on the first pic but the overall fit of the clothes is top notch. Who made these jackets, if I may ask?

Thanks. Funny you say that, as it's my only red tie, and I was about to get rid of it, but thought I'd give it a whirl. I always have trouble pairing red.

I tend to agree, but I only very rarely wear a square to work (or anywhere), as it is very conspicuous in both my profession and city (and has certain (what I'd consider negative) connotations)... At any rate the image below was my inspiration- so your suggestion was spot on.

Thanks. Both are Attolini- although, different cuts - one is soft shouldered and the other is slightly more built up.

When I saw olddog's picture, I thought, this man is trolling Manton with that tie.
