Nii - Love that suit man. And have to admit to diggin your mix of soft-core car Appreciation in your shoots....today's is just slummin'!

Butler - that's loungin' done right!

Gregaz - For some reason, the heavy tie doesn't seem to work with the fabric of the suit....however, I love the color interplay and the items seperately.

Navi - It could be the angle but ,that jacket looks too long on you and really shortens your legs (hell, it could also be...your legs). I think the 3-button makes the effect even more drastic.

Yeah the jacket is a little bit long, but its mmostly the angle making my legs look short. Jacket needs work but I enjoy this shirt and tie combo a lot.

I tried going without the collar stays today, and now that I see the picture, I conclude that was not the right call.

Who are these "cool kids on the other side of the playground." Don't tell me you've been posting in SW&D...if so, I will have to go over there and kick their *sses.

Yes - I'm enjoying SW&D - they're pretty open minded on style and give good honest feedback.

The only problem is my suit trousers have largely gone from over-snug to over loose. Trying to decide whether to see if adding brace buttons would be an option or whether to get the waistband taken in.

Thanks - slipped down a bit (no gut to hold them in place, and I don't like belts under vests) - need braces or something...

That jacket really does seem tight across the chest; not only are the lapels bowing out, but that's also causing the jacket below the button to pivot inwards by way of compensation for the forced movement above, causing the fronts to overlap. At least, that's the visual impression being created.

Great to have you back.

A beautiful - if still cold - sunny Monday. Cold enough to justify buttoning up a 3pc before going out for those who are displeased by the configuration below.

[/SPOILER]On a visit to the dry-cleaners to drop off a couple of suits, I was advised by a likeable (and clearly knowledgeable from the brief conversation we had) fellow who was dropping off what seemed to be Liberty tie, that I should have brightened up the look with a stronger choice of tie. Sadly, I didn't have time to discuss it further, as I was en route to an appointment. Thoughts?

Bolder tie for me. Nice suit (although my preference is unbuttoned 3pcs)

Apologies for the weird camera noise going on in the second picture, my camera is crap, but I included the picture anyway to get a better view of the hat.

Not a fan of the loafers or lapel decoration, but the rest is good.

Have to have the coat altered a bit, taken in on the sides and hem the sleeves. Plus my shoes need to be shined. Other than that I think I look alright considering the whole outfit cost under 100 dollars. Any suggestions ar loved!

ps: Ignore the babyface, thanks!
Jacket's not at all flattering. Too long?

Sorry, Doogie; not possible. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let me recommend that you have someone take your shots for you or that you get a tripod and a camera with a timer. It's nearly impossible to accurately assess fit from phone pics.
