Cheers Agent 0bs! I guess I just had to run through my experimental phase and get a better camera

I almost wore this with a white shirt, but I decided the contrast was a bit too strong and opted for light blue instead. Opinions, please?

^ I can see a white shirt working but I still think that you made the right choice. The light blue shirt pulls more colour out of the suit and the PS provides that element of contrast.

I think this look with a white shirt would be damned powerful.

I would have worn a white with fine blue pinstripe shirt. I think the shirt and the tie are too close. If the shirt had been lighter, and the tie darker, it would have worked better blue on blue.

I have a question I was hoping some people could answer.

First of all I don't know if this is the right thread, but I don't feel like starting a new one. Read these forums a lot but never posted.

I'm just finishing up college, and about to start the job search/interview process. I don't have a suit and am scrimping $ a bit for the time being and figured I'de purchase a used suit and get it altered. However I've never owned a suit and don't really know what I need altered. If I post a picture could I get some feedback on what alterations to have done?

Got to wear my new Sartorio spotcoat! Finamore shirt, Incotex pants, Allen Edmonds shoes and belt, Robert Talbott socks. And as I feel obligated to show it off every couple of months or so, my favorite cufflinks.

I'm a sucker for surgeon cuffs so I'm loving the jacket not to mention the fit is great! Links look nice as well.

Alright thanks.

I realize it doesn't look good right now. I'm basically wondering if it's worth getting altered, and what I should get altered or if I should just take it back.

To me it seems the waist area of the jacket is too big. I'm pretty sure it was bespoke and the original owner was kinda pear shaped. I know I need to get the sleeves of the jacket lengthened and there's enough fabric to do that. But I'm more curious about comments on the shoulder, chest, and waist area. Last pic I kinda brought it in a bit to show more what I think it should look like.

And sry for the crappy quality photos
