Just got these today on clearance at a local menswear place that carries Alden, snuff suede boot (guessing plaza last), looks to be almost the exact same as the leathersoul snuff suede safari. Nice score if I do say so myself!

Not really sure. My only other experience with Alden has been with the trubalance. The plaza at least seems to fit true to size; i wear a 10D in most everything and a 10D in these boots.

I find the Plaza last fits similarly to the Hampton up to the ball of the foot, but is more "snouty" with a longer toe. Also, it seems to fit more narrowly.
I wear a 7.5C or B in the Hampton due to the shorter toe. Ideally I'd wear a 7C in the Hampton but the distance from the ball of my foot to the tip of my toe is too long. I have a pair of Plaza lasted shoes in a 7D. The overall length is identical to my 7.5C Hampton and the width is similar. The 7D Plaza has less length from the heel to the ball of the foot, and more from the ball to the tip of the toe.
The Hampton and Plaza lasts are my favorite that Alden produces. The Aberdeen is my least favorite. It's far too narrow in the toe box making for a really uncomfortable shoe.

so the USPS tracking info says my shoes were delivered at 11:45am to my office, but no one's at the office today and building management said there were no deliveries. funOriginally Posted by scb
Give it a few days. It's odd, but I've found out that 'delivered' in USPS lingo means it has arrived at your local post office which then takes 2-3 days to reach it's final destination. I've had a few amazon prime orders that shipped with 2 day shipping via usps instead of ups and it took 4-5 days total for each of those orders. Hopefully this is the case with your shoes.

Leffot posted their new suede lwb on the Barrie last with double leather water lock soles. Very nice looking shoe.

I've had a few amazon prime orders that shipped with 2 day shipping via usps instead of ups and it took 4-5 days total for each of those orders.
