+1 Also how much are dior jeans at barneys (typically) and when's the best time to pick those up? What else to keep an eye out for?

Edit : Barneys apparently at 60% now

It has gotten far too costumey IMO, especially for the ladies. Aside from Schneider, Ervell, Cabourn, BoO, Comey there's not much else that peaks my interest. I don't think there's a single thing my girl would want.

Most of Barney's 60% off is limited to their inhouse stuff and jeans as was explained to me by my SA. She doesn't know when the next round of cuts for their designer stuff will happen but it should be at least another few weeks out. Supposedly this is to cut down on people returning the things they just bought at 30% and rebuying it at 60% off. Since the first wave of designer cuts hit the first week of December, the next round won't hit til probably after Christmas at the earliest.

Anyhow, Dior's are 30% off for those that didn't catch it the first time around. Still some sizes left for their indigo MIJ's. You'll have to do mail order though as I think only SF and Chi have some left in stock.

It seems like expensive hipster clothing now.

Exactly. They should revamp the women's selection. Adding some Rag & Bone (always thought they did well for the women's line) and Schneider for the womenz would be money. Would cop.

After Christmas is when the real sales pick up (at least in the SF store). For the past two years it was crazy discounts for 2008. (Demin at around 70-80% off in some cases). 2009 had decent sales but after Christmas an additional 33% was added for the 26-28th I think. So that would be the time. Not sure if it will be like this again but the economy was getting better when stores order their winter stuff so very likely it will be like this (or 25%). Either way I would wait till the 26th if you can.
