Yeah, I don't really do much with it other than caipirhinas, either. Smells too strongly of fresh corn silk to me (only de-tasselers will know this scent).
Was planning on making my own orgeat and falernum actually.
Had a cocktail last night that satisfied two questions--what to do with cachaca and what to do with St. Germain.
Called, IIRC, a Gaton...
1 Oz gin,
1 oz st germain
1/2 oz cachaca
1/2 oz lemon juice
2 dashes Reagan's Orange bitters (only have Fee's orange)
shake, strain.
Very good but I thought needed a little more complexity. Maybe next time have a dash of peach bitters or more chacaca/less st germain
