The UK version has been out for a while. Can any members comment on the contents and photography? How is the coverage of A & S, and Hunstman?

Vox, according to the publisher, never before released photos of Huntsman and A & S are included. True or hype?

There are new photos for the book itself and old ones that I have not seen before, and interesting material on other London tailors present and past.

There's also a fair amount stuff on military uniforms.

Got mine three days ago (sorry Vox and Will!

The structure and general idea of the book is very similar to James Sherwood's previous one, "The London Cut". But the text is so much better. Essentially, this is what "The London Cut" was meant to be.

And the pictures... most of them I saw already, but in this HUGE coffee table format they look simply stunning.

Pictures are excellent as others have noted and the text is fantastic.

Also, this may have been covered elsewhere but a book devoted solely to the history of A&S will be coming out shortly according to Mr. Hitchcock...

Any more info on the new A&S book? I heard it might be a Vanity Fair offering.

As others have said, a great book. My only complaint would be with the enormous format.

I had my pre order in about a month ago, and finally got the shipping notice from Amazon a few days ago.

UPS must know who the small timers are....
