The works: New plates, brushed/matte flatware, cloth placemats, cloth napkins, and napkin ring. I already have top end Reidel wine glasses and decanter. I will spend where there is unique style/quality (flatware), but not overspend on generics (plates) I think I can go all in for 2 settings for $100. Any feedback and/or general conventions to share? First, I like plain round plates. No "ridges" or cavity. $5 (might be worth a visit to $1 store)
http://www.crateandbarrel.com/sale/d...nerware/f28162 What color place-mat would you go with? Burnt orange, purple, white, or lime/pea green? Are white plates on white placements too matching? What about wooden/bamboo placemats? Too Asian-vibe corny? Got a picture of full settings combinations you like?
