Class of 06 is apparently about as bad as 2010

Kind of like it, though I'd prefer black or blue as the base

yea i recall bubblymasquerade had that problem; plus they have terrible response times. i think the sizing inconsistency is more about the length of the boot than anything. my size 8 daytons are 12.25 inches long, which i think is normal for maybe a size 10 boot. then again this is speculation.

also, regarding the water+leather problem. if you've ever gotten a jacket from aero, langlitz, lost world, etc, you would know that one of the methods of breaking in higher-weight leathers is to wear the jacket in the rain or even shower with it on. it doesnt weaken the leather, but makes it much more pliable and soft. if 4 oz = 4 oz for say a horsehide jacket and a leather boot, the soaking process still applies. also, the instructions for wearing in military boots are to wear them through water and walk with them until they hurt. repeat until softer and worn in. i think this is what razele was referring to in terms of comfort?

dislike the cardigan though.

Yeah, this is really depending on your wardrobe. If your looking for something similar, Dries does alot of big knits like that. @acl Exactly, the boots are shockingly comfortable. Also, it's not like I'm hiking in these or anything

Huh? Do you actually contribute to this board or just makes these 'Class of' comments? Can I go in with that other dude and help bribe you to post less? Acl: I know that water is a quick way of breaking in leathers, obviously, what I'm wondering is because it's such a shortcut, isn't it damaging the leather? Natural oils and et cetera.

If you read the board at all, you'd know that 'that dude' isn't a dude at all. And I can guarantee you that a higher percentage of my posts are helpful

haha yeah i am thinking i could pull it off but that might be wishful thinking. it has potential to be ridiculously baller or unbelievably stupid looking, and there isn't that big of a difference. best case scenario, it'd fall under the "so ugly it's baller" category. would definitely look better on a hipster than a workwear type du.

yea kit has 5,000 posts on classifying posters based on their join year. (8)

as long as you continue to condition the leather it should be fine. the water doesn't strip the leather of too many oils, particularly from thick hides.

Dude I saw the brick pattern around the bicep and thought of Super Mario Bros, would go well with a Lego brooch and massive glasses

Don't like the double layer on the heel and I'm not a huge fan of that style of over the top lacing. I think AnnD did that and it wasn't particularly nice either. At least it has side-zips, lacing that every time you wear it would be terrible

they look pretty cool. only gripes are that it seems like it'd be a ***** to lace up though, and the laces themselves look rather thin/delicate.

and cmon guys, let's just shop the styleathon on ruelala together and buy some marc new york.

Need a crewneck to wear underneath button down shirts. I want a nice light grey color and came across this one from Gap which is like $30:

Or is there something better for less?
