Fixed. But the best thing about the recent pics of Lapo is this new beard he's been sporting. Dudeski, you were found passed-out in the home of a ****** whore wearing women's undies. Why the charade. Why. The. Charade. That's all I'm sayin. Not sayin...just sayin.

Why are there so many pictures of this guy? He is probably the worst dressed man I have ever seen. I have never seen him look good. Not to mention his awful, unkempt haircut.

Facts:

1. It was Mother's Day.

Nice look overall, but you couldn't find better shoes to match?

I liked this fine until I got to your feet. Might have gone with a light blue shirt, though.
As to the above comment regarding Labor Day, one often hears the old saw about not wearing summer clothing after Labor Day. Was this ever really true? Traditionally, straw hats could be worn till Sept. 15th, after which you were fair game for someone to knock it off your head. It would seem you could wear a summer suit as long as you could wear a straw hat.

Forget your Zoot Suit Riots, here's a Straw Hat Riot. Makes SF seem quite gentlemanly:

The shoes are FTW - they're definitely a fun, whimsical summer look.

The tie is admittedly bogus. White shirt and navy tie and you'd be *killing it.* Bowtie would also be a bonus.

The rule simply never existed. It's an invention that originally applied to women's handbags and shoes, and somehow got extended to everything. You wore summer clothing until the weather suited fall and winter clothing better, and you wore winter clothing until spring and summer clothing suited the weather better.

As for the straw hat stuff, a lot of towns had big festivals (encouraged by hatmakers) on "straw hat day", and "felt hat day". Everybody would parade downtown, take of the worn out hat they brought (felt on straw hat day, straw on felt hat day), punch out the crown, and toss it in a pile for a bonfire, then they would go and buy a new hat proper to the season, or some variation on that theme. Of course, those were really parties and for show, and people still wore what was appropriate to the weather. But they were locally scheduled, so they would be right around the right date to switch for that area.

2 (?) patch, soft shoulders, wide lapels, high armholes .. i assume its side vented too?

Wow, I don't quite remember! LOL. I think it may be center vented. It is a Freeman's Sporting Club and it is made from English deadstock wool. More of a cream than a true white. I wonder if I could get away with wearing it in the cooler months? Probably not.....

It took MUCHO work to get ****** into those pants. My poor tailor had to completely redo them for me, and they are still a squeeze. Probably why I have only worn it once this season.
