... that his 900 dollars worth of 5 mtm dress shirts show severe green/yellow pit stains. He's a good guy but and i consider him an aquintance, so should there be any problem telling him his 2 year old shirts need to be replaced? I'm pretty sure they were gifts from his dad, the CEO of our company, so im pretty sure it's not something he can personally replace. is it something any of you guys would take akwardly?

Bah just tell him, and even he can't replace them, still better to have RTW than dirty MTM imo.

Well meaning gestures can go wrong and get you fired. Why take a chance?
I'd mind my own business were I you. He will figure it out sooner or later for himself.

Does he smell?

If he is a poor performer and has no relation with the boss, then yes. Otherwise, bad idea. If you must, tell him you overheard this new guy or intern at the lift saying that the boss' son looks disgusting wearing those stained shirts.

Send an anonymous e-mail! It's the CEO's son!

That^^. Open a fake e-mail acct and send him an e-mail! Post flicks of the "before" if you can. If you don't want to do that, buy him a 3 pack of undershirts and leave it on his desk.

Obviously the anonymous e-mail if you must tell him.

You have very little to gain by injecting yourself into his laundry affairs. Perhaps it's best to direct your altruism to someone other than the CEO's son.

I hear that Mike "The Situation" is publishing a book on his patented GTL routine. Perhaps that would make a proper gift?

I think the real answer here is to switch to a non-aluminum based deodorant. If he has sweating issues as well, he should pick up one of those anti-sweat roll-ons that you can put on overnight to stop you from sweating, and then use a non-aluminum deodorant during the day. Otherwise his shirts will keep on getting ruined.
