Do you guys think it's poor taste to get married for a 2nd time in the same tuxedo that I got married in the 1st time around?

Nah. You're not a chick wearing a ceremonial dress meant to be worn only once and which is supposed to signal (albeit, usually falsely) sexual innocence.

Only if it's before six o'clock.

Just make sure there are no clinton-stains on it. A dry cleaning and a new shirt and tie will do fine.

No. It's not like the new wife has seen you get married in it the first time around. Unless you forced her to watch wedding videos from your previous marriage.

Ugh, this rule is so overplayed. I think it's safe to say that so long as your wedding (reception included) is even going to touch the evening, a dinner suit is certainly fine. Even if it doesn't, it's also probably fine. The main problem is that most people's tuxedos are ugly, not when they are worn.

To the contrary...if you are getting married to the same woman a second time, whipping out the old tux is kinda sweet and nostalgic.

No, different girl, same Ralph Lauren Tuxedo. It's far from being definite yet (Not even engaged yet). Just wondering if I should hold onto my tuxedo which is been in a suit bag for the last 8 years.

Is this a plural marriage, that is, you will be married to both women?

Unless your new bride objects, then I doubt anyone else would know or care.

I wouldn't mention it to the new wife, but I don't see a problem with it. If she asks, just tell her you already have a tux and don't specify that you wore it to the previous wedding. You post here, it's not like anyone would be surprised that you own a tux.
