gnatty the best part about your pics are that the fact your pants compliment the shoes. There's too many nice Aldens and bad pants/jeans combo pics floating around on the internet.

+1

gnatty gives me ideas which I will never be able to pull off as well but still help none the less (I hope). His fit is always spot on. That leprechaun that takes pics for him is great too. I bet he has a pay site in Japanese and makes a fortune without even telling gnatty.

Where are the black pebbles from, Gnatty? The exterior of the wings is smooth? Looks very nice. I think pebble grain looks a lot better in black than tan.

The ones right above are shell, here are the same thing in pebble:

They are both Black Fleece, made by Alden. I agree with you on color, have never cared for pebble grain in tan at all, black is a much more classic look.

I could be wrong but I think I saw a pair of Alden Indys in Tom Ford's "A Single Man."

It was a black and white flashback scene, two characters on a rock in the middle of nowhere. Same contrast stitching, same flat sole, same height, same eyelets.

Alden 405s... made for a 1930s archaeologist and a 1960s gay academic.

Yeah, those were indy's. I noticed them, too. And nice collection, Gnatty!

And yes, a really impressive collection from Gnatty.

The chromexcel Indy jumps out at me. Such a rich, absorbing color.

Once the #8 color begins to fade (as below), what color polish does one use?

Been wearing them all day so they need a wipe down and brush.
