By the looks of it you can just take that zip part off if you want (it's just laced up)

I have a pair of Paraboot Boat shoes, I really like them. They make solid shoes, and that loafer posted above me is pretty sick

What is with the sole on these? Is it just the photography or are they really that...clownish? I love the upper and have been looking for a shoe that color and with that profile. But if the sole is that chunky--that's f'ing ugly.
