i'm planning to invest on a pair of alden cordovan wingtip in dark burgundy. i like to believe that the dark burgundy would work on any color of dress pants/suits (e.g. charcoal/gray, navy, black, etc), is this right?

What's quality like on Comme des Garcons? Are their other lines (shirt, homme plus) diffusion or just differently oriented?

Only if it's tapered, in which case it'll end up being a lot wider at the hem than normal

A few questions:

1) Where can I get some good belt buckles? I'm looking for a plain matte black/gun metal type one.
2) Which brands specialise in leather goods (belts and wallets) that are affordable? I know of just Tanner, Makr, Billykirk.
3) Which stores/brands carry nice streetwear shoes and boots in size 39? (I did a search before and couldn't come up with much.)
4) Where can I get affordable slouch neck tshirts?

Thanks!

On conan just now Lifehouse was playing and the singer had on a really cool denim jacket. Type 3, looked raw, red tab, and black buttons. Does anyone know what model levis that could be?

1. Tough one. Other than the occasional crafts/leather goods sites, finding buckles like that is hard (most are sold wholesale in bulk). I've looked all the **** over, but keep looking. Most will be chrome or brass. John Wye sells his stainless buckle separate (abt $15?): http://www.jonwye.com/Black_Brown_Belts_s/34.html 2. PM user 'Unlucky' here. He's a leatherworker. He gets mad business and is crazy inexpensive for the goods. See his thread: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=57676 His pictures: http://s248.photobucket.com/albums/gg197/unlucky62/

Nope. AG and Diesel are separate, although Goldschmied was a partner with Renzo Rosso (who owns Diesel) back in the '70s, but Rosso bought him out sometime in the '80s.
