I think you might be missing some of the details. It's not a g9. It's a heavier quilted coat made from millerain waxed cotton

I wear Red Wings and Fryes mostly. I need to read some forums on how to even wear jeans with sneakers (i.e. colors that go with indigo without looking like a scenester or gangster).

Do you mean like ACTUAL running?

Purely as a casual sort of thing for walking or jogging, eh?

Seems like there's really no point trying to try making a high-top gangster sneaker work with unique darker denim.

Thanks for the help.

992 is realy a walking shoe, too heavy for real running... but super comfy!

I want to know what you guys would suggest by way of buying sneakers that I could potentially wear with jeans. Hi-tops/ Air Force Ones seem to be what I'm leaning towards, but maybe some leather Converse shoes or Nike Shox.
I'd suggest a subtle style of one of the following: Adidas Gazelles, Nike Blazer, nike af-1, converse hi-tops, reebok pumps. Think about what you'll be wearing them with and for, as well as how they'll look in time and whether you want to keep them clean or dirty them up, also make sure they're comfortable with thick sport socks (I take it thats what you'll be wearing them with) not just thin/business socks. If you make a good purchase be sure to post it, the simple sneaker is almost a myth here leave converse.

Thanks man, good advice.

I guess I'd just have them in my closet, and maybe wear them every once in a while.

I was lurking their Fuel Star-esque website, and found these

OR

http://www.athletesworld.ca/aw/produ...ils.jsp?id=223

Seem to be the only things worth looking at from the company.

I guess I could just buy another few pairs of Converse.

Any thoughts on the two pairs I posted? They don't sell New Balance so I'm SOL to get the 992s.
