I can think of a few brands for $280 that do that

Guess I "lucked out" with my JS.

There's also a thread about them at Hypebeast.
That's right, folks, the Reaganomics of fashion is best explained as poor people copying what rich people are happening well at. Good god.Word, Urban Outfitters is wack as ****, they see what other designers/trends are doing/happening well at and then produce their own ****** version which ultimately exposed to everyday average unknowing consumer.

The talk "wack as ****" at hypebeast, but they do have a point. I really hope dry denim doesn't become some hipster thing now.
Ummm...are people really that concerned about the patch going over that seam? If so....there are a lot of jeans out there that have that going on. I was thinking it wasn't that abnormal so I went browsing around real quick and found these which all exhibit it to one extent or another. There are jeans from Momotaro, Sugar Cane, Iron Heart, Flat Head, and Samurai. Seems to be fairly common depending upon the cut.

they also fit like ****.
That's ******* hilarious, sitting here in a pair of Ironhearts and as I read the digs about the patches it never occurred to feel my patch until this post. Yup, my S634s also have the patch totally stitched over half of the yoke. It this really a SF groupthink critique, or did it just come out of nowhere? Never bothered me before, not going to worry about it now.
Yiiikes.
levis?

I have a pair of LVC 47s with the patch over the yoke as well - seems like an authentic touch. No big deal to me. I find some of the problems I've had with APCs less forgivable (as well as KMW and other brand's selvage coin pocket). Anyway, I wouldn't dismiss these jeans out of hand. I'm not buying them, but whatever.
