BB Black Fleece FW 09 is up

The new Black fleece is up on brooks brothers website. The layout is much better this time around for the website. Also, prices seem considerably cheaper than in the past. I remember buying one of the first suits for 2700. They then dropped to 1900 in the spring and now they are only 1600. They are still fully canvassed. 1600 seems pretty reasonable. The discounts in the future could possibly make them in the 800 dollar range too.

The sweaters are fairly cheap as well. Some wool ones are priced in the 300s. I know that sounds sort of high for wool, but try to find any thom browne sweater that retails for 300.

Prices certainly have come down. I remember a few seasons ago $1600 was the discounted price of the suit. Some good looking stuff this season for sure.

New stuff looks really bad,I am very disappointed.Sweaters look pretty bad,previous season stuff was more conservative and I liked it more.
What have they done with their inventory?They had some cashmere sweaters and cardigans,are they in the stores or outlets?

I quite like the new sweaters. Not as conservative but that's the way I like 'em.
