Why are you on a forum devoted to style and fine living if you are this big of a loser? This thread has to be a joke.

This problem is no different than the rest of the problems you will have in life. Your ability to get through this depends on your willingness to work. Get a job, or two, and work your way out of the house. It doesn't matter what the jobs are - honest work is nothing to be ashamed of. The more time you spend at work the less time you will be around your family (you will remember this again much later - after you have been married for 15 years).

Forget this romantic notion of hobos. This isn't 1929. Many of those you will meet on the road are violently mentally ill or addicted to drugs. I predict that within two weeks you will have either a knife or a dick inside of you.

K. Thanks everyone (except username79. even your name is lame)...my mood is improving. From this point on, nothing is what it seems. (Or is it?)

So you actually think that voluntarily becoming a hobo is a good idea? That it will somehow make you mature? Why don't you just start smoking low quality crack in your basement? It will accelerate your progress to the streets.

Watch documentaries on the homeless. Seems like a lot get job in construction, or hand out flyers.

In Dark Days, filmed in NYC, they showed one guy making decent money(by homeless standards) going through junk and reselling anything that had street value. People would throw out working TV and stuff. He said it was also easy to sell used Appreciation and "those ****** magazines" always sold the fastest.
