I had a good shoe shine across from Shake Shack... but that is below 34th... Some old Russian man with a place near the Wendys.

I had a ****** shoeshine today on 43rd and 3rd... dont go there. The lady shined my shoes for like 4 minutes, but i was really not impressed

anyone ever gone to the shoe shine in the Chrysler Building? The one downstairs near the subway entrance?

If i find a good shoe shine tomorrow (i am wearing some shoes i dont usually wear)... i will post it here.

Are you saying Eddie's is the best place to get a shine between 34-57 7 ave to lex?
Just want to be clear about what you are trying to say.

for future reference, the shoe shine on the south side of 23rd, just west of broadway, is great..

There is a place (never paid attention to the name) at 45th and Park (next to the East tunnel) that does a great job.

A parade gloss shine is ugly. You need to get a soft glow shine.

Oh ok. That is the place before the Home Depot. I will check it out next time I am over there.

I got a great shine today from the stand on the SW corner of 42/5 right by the park.

Also going to chime in with Eddie's, although the place on 53rd and 5th in the entrance to the E and V trains is also pretty decent.

There used to be a homeless guy that was always in the entrance to that station doing a comedy routine; very bright (but abstract) guy...IIRC he was the subject of a documentary.
