Well, he obviously never got what he truly deserved to get, but I'm sure he has more hardships coming his way. I was glad they got something to stick on him.
He had brilliant lawyers working for him and the fact he was a highly recognizable celeb and sports star I think may have swayed the jury. His trial should never have taken place where it did, just my opinion.

Care to elaborate?

It seems like there are many blacks that feel vindicated because he was found innocent despite the fact that it seems pretty obvious that he wasn't.

It wasn't so much that the dream team was so good, but the prosecution was so bad.

Classic example occurs when they decide to make OJ try on the gloves, and OJ simply makes a big deal about how tight they are--he can't even get them over his hands (anyone can pretend for a minute or two that gloves, like shoes, fit or don't fit, and who beside yourself could tell the difference?) Through that dopey move alone they handed the defense the slogan "If it don't fit, acquit!" The jurors (and the media) ate that up like country bacon.

I was just kidding, but you would be surprised to know a fair share of Blacks believed OJ to have some involvement in the murders. In addition, a good number were upset with him after the trial, considering his legal team sought support from the Black community during the trial, but after aquittal, he once again turned his back on the community that once had his back. If you notice, he had very little African-American support during his latest trial. Irony lies in the fact, as I type this, they're re-airing the Family Guy episode with O.J......lol.
