Something is a bit off with this, I feel like a soccer mom for some reason.

I really like this, it's very yfyf (classic styles with a twist) but I think what's wrong are the jeans. Are they cuffed more than once? Because they look like they are cuffed multiple times and the clunkiness of it sort of breaks the slimness syngergy of everything else. Also they seem to be an interesting texture/fabric, like not normal denim (or maybe it's not even denim?).

Switch out the pants/hem them and I think the look could work.

You should tuck your shirt into pants and tuck your collar into your neck. You might think it looks cool or trendy but IMO it just comes off as sloppy. While I think that converse are overplayed, they're not bad (I like the contrast red, it's almost iconic in a way). Anyways one thing I dislike is the large flopping laces so you should tie them all up or swap them out for something shorter.
