Surely you mean "backdrop"... but imprecise use of foreign words is another indice of the iGent.

Since you brought it up, however, and since you have already extolled the pattern matching, I'd be delighted to learn why the bunching of horizontal pattern on either side of that seam is desirable. I don't actually expect an answer, because that's not your style--so to speak. But I felt I should extend the invitation, and I'm all ears.
