Looks pretty nice, and it's supposed to be one of their new, more fitted cuts. I'm still somewhat skeptical of the slimness though.

(Bump)

Have had my eyes on this as well. Anone that would be kind to share their opinon? Too early perhaps. I was however heart stricken when I found out that the jacket has a barbour tag on the back.

I can post measurements for one of their new slim cut jackets this evening if you'd like. As long as you're not a scrawny beanpole, they fit very nicely.

I got one. And yes - is very slim cut. Quite light, but as it is waxed not quite breathable. I like it nevertheless.

Yes please do, I would appreciate it immensely.

Thanks, would you say that one could un-stitch the "Barbour"-tag on the back, or would it leave a mark? The logo on the pocket is enough already.

Those look a lot like the one I bought from The Hound a few months back on sale. Yes they're cut quite slim and fitted. When worn, the fit reminds me so much of a riding jacket.

I have it in Black. I'm a 41-42R and a Medium fits very well on me.
It was asked earlier and haven't seen an answer...but has anyone tried removing the "Barbour" tag on the back?

Here are some stats for size M, which is designed to fit a size 38-40: Chest (pit-pit): 23" / 58.5cm Arm length (shoulder-cuff): 25.5" / 65cm Shoulder-shoulder: 20" / 51cm Length: 29" / 73.5c As you can see, anything but 'slim fit' as SF would otherwise interpret it.

LOL at the difference in sizes between brands and countries.

I need a M in Barbour though even the XXL in Epaulet shirts would hardly fit me

thanks for the stats, thought I'd need a medium but that looks huge. I'm 6' 170lbs, usually a medium, maybe a small will work for me.

Are the armholes low or high? I tried their peacoat and found the armholes cut very low.

Bumping this thread because I'm looking at this jacket.

Any chance that someone has measurements for the Small size?

I asked an ebay seller the other day. Shoulders 19", chest 21. Not really that small.
