ive heard that 5 minutes of hard skipping is equivalent to about 15 minutes of running.
I think it largely depends on intensity. 5 minutes of rope doing double-unders vs. 15 minutes of light running, or 5 minutes of rope and 15 minutes of HIIT running/sprints.
