What is Incotex?

Stupid question, but this is one of those weird scenarios where I'd previously never even heard of something, but then, suddenly, it's everywhere. All I know is that they make good pants that people here really want. But a google search reveals nothing, please someone explain what Incotex is all about and why they are desired.

Incos are well made and nicely slim, which makes them appealing to many here. But they are very desired at the moment because they are available on deep discount. Usually they go for $250 or more, but Daffy's had them for $20. Many forumites, in turn, offered them here, with various buyer's premiums attached.

They're nice enough trou, but I wouldn't pay retail for them. Usually there's not nearly this much discussion of them.

Oh yeah, if you stick around long enough, you'll see SF is prone to these frenzies for bargains. One week it's EG shoes at Grapevinehill, then it's Incotex, then it's something else. It's like a run on a bank, in that it happens quickly, often unexpectedly, and leaves lots of people with no money in their accounts.

Yoox has measurements?! I find their site very unhelpful in terms if details about the clothes.

Are the measurements in inches, Italian, or something completely different?

Just go to one of the high end department store , and check out the prices for Incotex pants, and then think we are getting them @ around 20-30 bucks for non-wool pants, and 50-60 for the wool ones, then you will understand why we are going crazy....

I've never seen them in a store and never heard of them until i got here. Only places I know with them are yoox and shopthefinest, but I don't buy pants online so sucks for me.

Incotex are available in Barney's, Sak's, and I think some Neiman Marcus. I think a lot of people don't spend time looking in the "odd trousers" sections of stores very often, but they are around. To add to the answers for the OP, another feature a lot of folks on the forum really enjoy is that they have Suspender Buttons and a split back-seam. There are various posts as to whether the "v" seam makes it EASIER or HARDER to alter the waist, but I believe the consensus was that it is MORE DIFFICULT.

For other high-quality trousers, check out Isaia and Zanella. The latter can usually be found at a good discount. I have NEVER seen ISAIA on sale.
