It's true, unfortunately. Watch the first dozen episodes, until you find out who the killer is. I have no idea why they revealed the killer so soon, but after that Lynch and Frost basically abandoned the series and it turned to **** until the last 2 or 3 episodes when Lynch came back.Originally Posted by Pennglock
But in the good episodes, there are sequences that are unlike anything else Ive ever seen on television. It's hard to believe Twin Peaks was a mainstream network hit in the 90s. After The Wire, I think it's the best TV show of all time.
I'd agree...it gets weird in a bad way after the killer is revealed but up until then it is phenomenal (and what can you really expect from a show where the goal is to solve a crime over many episodes and you solve it a third of the way in?)
I dunno that there is anything generational...I am 24 and watched it 3-4 years ago and thought it was great (though I know my parents were into it when it was on TV so it may depend on your personality/upbringing)
