a friend brought me a vegetable knife from there and i like it a lot. it's a lot more rustic than a nenox/misono/whatever, but a nice edge. and i like rustic (i've got a small collection of pre wwii french kitchen knives, too).

when i used to hang out with blade boys (instead of style boys), they had a really good reputation, as did japanese chef's knives and korin.

It's mainly a cool store because of the non-knife stuff they have. It's like OCD central, the best tools for absolutely any job. Needless to say, it is right up my alley.

Uni-taskers can sometimes be a bit excessive, though. I love how Williams-Sonoma carries a pitter and seeder designed specifically for every different type of fruit imaginable.

This site will be of great use to me when I am once again forced to defend the word "Adz" as a legitimate Scrabble play.

Genevieve hates it too, because of me. My family, being useless in most other regards competitively, plays a lot of Scrabble.
