This is true. if you look at the one on B&S recently, a size small had an 18" shoulder. size S knits are usually no more than 17".

thanks guys! Yeah, ervell knits are always boxy and short. That cardigan is a small. XS also fit me but the back is way too short. JET, the pants is dark navy.

Just because something is supposed to fit a certain way doesn't mean that way looks good. However, in this case it does. Not my style but for what mellowfellow is going for he nails it pretty much all the time.
