Just honourably turned into SF senior member and commenced reading:
I thought this was his best in a while, particularly the opening section at the art gallery^^
Opening section from the gallery was very intriguing, setting the pace with "the depth of things so easy to miss in the shallow habit of seeing". Although this book could be consumed in one not overly long sitting, I am taking it in small doses. I think DeLillo is a strange but fascinating author.
i havent read libra or mao II, but i'd say skip Underworld. delillo's brilliance is really bogged down by its length. substitute it with White Noise.

i'm about a third of the way through "underworld" and i'm really enjoying it. definitely not finding it a struggle to get though.
