I know they're made in the states (and I've heard it's around LA) but I really have no idea and I'm quite curious.
my RLBL jeans from last season were also made in the USA... wonder if its the same maker
my APC's denim is made in Macau
What is value to you??? Each jean offers something different. APC uses japanese selvage denim. N&F uses japanese selvage denim. Does selvage matter to you? APC is made in Tunisia or Macau. N&F is made in Canada. The hard wear on both are about the same. They fade differently. They fit differently. Are you looking for a brand new jean or used jean? Value is what you make of it. Try a few pair on and decide that way. Don't just go with one and assume its the best because everyone says so. That's my advice. Best, mauro PS- I do sell both brands.
I actually just posted this in another thread but I came accross a photo essay that documents denim distressing and there happens to be a huge stack of RRLs in one of the photos. http://www.davidfriedmanphoto.com/bl...m-factory.html
thats interesting, though it could be the case that RRL is made somewhere and distressed somewhere else
