I doubt I'll be able to get any significant fades on these, but it'll be interesting to see how they wear down.

I love 'em. I grabbed a 28 and have a 30" waist. They compliment my lower body really well as my legs are quite skinny. Not too tight on the top, and slim throughout the leg. The tapering isn't as extreme as I expected it to be, and after getting it hemmed to 33" the leg opening was at 6.2" so it worked out nicely. The only thing I've noticed is how they're bunching up at the bottom of the knee when I stand up from sitting down, but I'm sure that'll go away when they're broken in. But overall, it's got a nice weight to it and fits me spot on.

x-post from the 501 thread Sup fellas, forgive me for all the pictures. Started these almost exactly 1 year ago (January 1, 2009), started off with a hot soak and hang dry. First wash at the end of May (hot wash, hot dry), rain drenched mid June, second wash in August (hot wash, hot dry) and here we are today. These were for the mynudies.com 501 contest and if you guys like what you see, please vote for me thanks!

Mall Brand status. Thought I'd put up a few pics of my Banana Republic jeans just for the hell of it. They are/were raw Japanese selvage, with about 10 solid months of wear and about 5 washings. They've been a real ***** to fade, so nothing very spectacular. I've worn them through 3 or 4 room demolition projects in my house, which consists of ripping out lathe and plaster, rewiring, trim removal and restoration, etc. I've tried to beat the hell out of them. They've had one crotch repair and could use some repair down by the hems. As of yesterday, they were basically grey from plaster dust, so I threw them in for a hot wash.

I promise I wear them! Albeit not that hard lol. Sadly school + desk job doesn't promote fast fading

Maybe if I sat there rubbing my hands on my jeans all day, but then people might think I'm even more weird than for wearing the same jeans everyday

Thanks, tiger. They are ok, but I tell you they have been so hard to fade. I can already tell that my MFSC jeans are going to looks so much better.
