I have to say ron herman is my favorite store you really must check it out if you haven't but they've scaled back a little due to the climate. At their peak they had veronique branquinho, margiela, lanvin, junya, comme, ann d., victor & rolf, dries, among others. In the late 90s they were one of the first to carry ccp as well and all the celebs used to come in and clean up. It was a couple years ago though that rh and sw were the best along with this other boutique I used to shop at that no longer do mens. Now I try to shop out of state to save the ridiculous 9.75% tax we get charged.

Gettin myself a pair of engineer boots, just need a black wool cardigan to keep me warm, layer underneath my perfecto and I'm set for life, all seasons

Rules are awesome - they do exist for a reason and must be broken skillfully.

MC has way, way more rules. SW&D alot less.

I am thinking that for my work / professional stuff I will be using alot of Jil for my knitwear.

Temple of Jawnz leather project is looking good too, hoping I like the finished cut so I can get a cafe style minus all the zippers on the chest.

Getting Red Wings 2268s, classic style. The Julius ones could be styled well, of course, but I don't like having to treat my boots as dress shoes.

why not buy one of the many red chambrays made by forumites, or sold by forumites such as the mjkrell one, or the custom one zissou [or robin, i srsly get the two confused] have going, or the flathead one, or the SDA one. if jcrew had a red chambray, it would surely be rad... but it almost sounds as if you think red chamrbay is some gold fleece or something.
I don't like the fit of the Flathead or SDA shirts, but the MJK seems like a good option. I was thinking that since I already have the blue, white, and grey J Crew chambrays it would be nice to add to the collection
