They are thick and stronger than any other jean at my Bloomingdales with the exception of Zegna and Armani raw. The cut is straight, and flatters my body very well. You need to understand I have odd proportions and it is hard for me to find a good pair of pants. I have pants that are $500 RLPL pants that do not flatter me as good as these.

mercury soaks are the only way to achieve respectable fadez, it's a trade secret
Amount spent does not necessarily = better fit. Especially when it comes to designer jeans, of which many are simply bought for logos, not style or cut or quality. CoH is not exactly an approved of brand around here as you are no doubt finding out, but you got a good deal, and if you like them then wear them. As far as washing them goes, they're not raw. Wash them whenever the hell they need it. Even if they were raw (or you want to pretend they are) it's not that complicated - wear, air out if they start to smell, wash or spot clean if dirty. Of course everyone won't agree with that methodology but everyone is different.
Would you like me to cut it off for you? No one will see it, nor will anyone know wtf is means. I live in ******* Nassau County, the south shore. These people make LA trash look like haberdeshers.
Ah yes, that strange chemical dish soap.
So I see all these threads and people talking about not washing their jeans for a year, soaking them in all sorts of strange chemicals and other strange stuff.
The line looks like selvedge. I assume you are kidding about cutting if off, but if you aren't, I recommend leaving it. KMW ("SF approved") denim has the exact same selvedge on the coin pocket. For what it is worth. The jeans look fine to me. The fit is the key, as others have pointed out.
Even if he's not trolling, I resent this guy for his anti-Guiney, anti-South Shaw attitude.
So you've stumbled upon those threads where people discuss all different types of methods. And i'm guessing you read them. Whats the point in creating a new thread asking the same questions?
PS: I love that random selvedge band above the coin pocket which serves absolutely no purpose
KMW doesn't have a random swatch of selvage ABOVE the coin pocket. KMW's coin pocket has an exposed selvage. Huge difference.
