Hello, I am looking onto some ZZegna stuff, and I am wondering about the quality. I know the suits, shirts and sportcoats are pretty average, what about the outerwear?

The Z Zegna line of outerwear is absolute garbage. I purchased a navy blue pea coat last season (http://store.zegna.com/us/zzegna/men/coat_cod41380421mc.html) and after 2 weeks the pockets started to come apart. I returned the coat and they sent me a new one.

After a couple of months I noticed the material of the coat (72% Wool, 28% Polyamid) had a tendency to attract fluff and it gets caught in the material (see below), so I brought it to my dry cleaners and they said they could not properly dry clean it as the material would come off the coat, so I had to painstakingly (and very carefully) remove it myself.

Over the course of one winter season the material began to pill, the color faded, and when I took it out at the beginning of this of this winter I notice the material on the elbows has completely worn off! AFTER ONE YEAR! See pics below.

Zegna seems to pride themselves on quality of the fabrics they use, but in my life I have NEVER owned such a pice of **** coat in my life, let alone from a self described high end luxury fashion house.

Now, I'm sure their "Ermenegildo Zegna" line of coats are made of better quality material, but they are 4 times the price. Regardless, I will never buy another piece of clothing from them.
