Zegna Mindanao Shoes

very nice, Mike, I think you'll enjoy them. I picked up a pair of Zegna's about a year ago and have only good things to say about them.

I tend to be impressed more often than not by the shoes in Zegna boutiques, though the retail prices are set a bit high. The couture line shoes are also pretty good.

I picked up a pair on Tuesday in brown, also at the Nordstrom sale, Reg $475, Sale $236.90. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I am struck by them as much as you are Mike. I went back to Nordstrom's today and they had my size in black too. Very versatile shoe. The last is timeless and the style is classic. Leather seems good. Also, compared to a C&J handgrade (7/8"stack heel), of which I have several, the heel is a 1/4" higher (1 1/8") which seems to add some flair.

The leather has a JL "museumy" mottled coloration.
