My first post here so please forgive me in advance for my ignorance...

I have narrowed my search so far to the 3 suits listed above (E. Zegna "High Performance", H-F " Collection", and Jos. A Banks "Signature Gold". I am leaning toward the Zegna but am concerned about the material used and am looking for some feedback from anyone who has worn the High Performance suit. I'd like to know how it hangs and any particular quirks it might have. I read in another thread that it has a high, dry handle and don't really understand what that means. Also, any reasons for not purchasing would be appreciated. I live in Florida so the lighter weight fabric is not a negative but definitely not the determining factor. All of the suits are being sold used from between $99-$129.

Thank you for any feedback!

Definitely go for the Ermenegildo Zegna suit -- it is heads and shoulders above the other two which are fused.

High performance fabric uses high twist yarns and therefore more winkle-resistant.

Also, welcome to SF

JensenH,

Thanks for your input. It helps assure me that I was on the right track. Thanks for the welcome too! I wish I had known about this forum before - it would have saved me from buying overpriced fused suits... Better late than never.

I have a high-performance E. Zegna summer suit (half lined) which is a fantastic suit. I can attest that for how lightweight and cool the wool is, it's still manages to remain wrinkle resistant. It feels very comfortable and the construction is leaps and bounds better than the HF-Collection and JAB. I highly recommend it.
