YSL Sportcoats made in the US?

I recently picked up a 'new' YSL sportcoat on ebay and the first thing I noticed when I received it was a 'Made in the USA' tag. Could this be correct? Also, the lapels are somewhat oddly shaped...very wide and low gorge. Looks kind of strange on.

Do you think this is authentic?

Thanks.

Does it have the ACTWU tag in one of the pockets? Probably was made under license by Hartmarx or someone similar.

no tags in any of the pockets, of which there are 3 on the inside on each side (or 3 on one side and 2 on the side with the YSL tag). Can't remember exactly.

Old and ordinary.

YSL bought back all these licenses before reinventing their image around the turn of the decade.

It does seem a bit dated...not sure if I can see myself wearing this. At least I didn't blow much money on it.

Looking at it...it does remind me of a Miami Vice type cut

Oh well...$20 down the drain.
