I've purchased random items from Yoox in the past but have always stayed away from blazers and suits because they don't have jacket length listed. Has anyone figured out a way to tell if the suits are short, regular, or long? I've tried emailing their customer service several times but never get a response.

Or are all their suits regular length? If so, can anyone help with which brands run on the shorter side? I'm in between short/long (5'7"-5'8"). I was eyeing some of their Costume national and Raf simons suits in particular.

Thanks!

The best I've figured is to compare how they hang on the mannequins. Eyeballing different coats next to each other, as in the multi-item browse mode, makes it easier to pick out the really short ones.

I also judge by comparing the body length to the sleeve length. If they're similar, I assume the coat's short.

But yeah, I end up sending a good percentage back.

I've never received anything that wasn't marked as a regular, though some have been absurdly short.

It's curious. Do European brands typically have a standard length, or does Yoox only carry regular?

I've bought a total of 1 blazer from Yoox (usually stick to shirts, jackets, etc.) --- it was a Marc Jacobs piece labeled as 48 (Euro). It didn't have a length listed, but was basically a short. It doesn't seem consistent even within a designer line though from what I've seen?

That's a good idea, I didn't really pay attention to sleeve vs. jacket length. The problem with suits is they have models wearing them so it can be hard to tell. I assume they are regular or long b/c I figure the models are tall?

Most of the time, you just have to eyeball it. You know how big a dress form is, more or less, so...

The other note is that many of the obscure brands are fashionable ones, with coats cut to fashionable proportions. Right now, this means that a standard length for them is on the shorter side.
